Welcome to Elentya

Hello,

Welcome to our first blog, and our brand new website. We are so excited to start this new venture and let you see what we get up to, as well as sharing our journey with you all.

So, the most important question if you're new, who are we? We are a mum (Carol) and daughter (Laura, hi that’s me) team. We are both practising solitary and eclectic witches with a life-long love of all things spiritual and spooky so decided to share our passion with our small seaside town in September 2019 by opening Elentya. 

Our first day was scary and exciting, we’d worked so hard to get to that point alone. But were there enough people who shared our love of incense, crystals, or skulls? On that first day looking around at the fresh displays and lights in our windows we were filled with mixed emotions. Turns out we didn’t have to worry, people came, and to this day we have some amazing regulars, and so much support not just from our little town but surrounding areas too, we have met some amazing people with amazing stories, and helped just as many find the support they’ve been looking for. 

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not been smooth sailing or an easy journey, less that six months after opening we had to close due to a little thing called covid. However we didn;t let this stop us, we’d only just started this journey. We used the time to work on our plans, and goals, to learn about marketing, and social media, because in today's world it’s no good having one without the other, how else will people find us when they got so used to not going outside. Anyway, we made it through the pandemic and we’re still here, and still doing what we love most.

For those who are curious, or would like to find our little shop in person, you will find us on Lord Street in the small town of Fleetwood. We are one of many unique local small businesses that make our high street so unique. Fleetwood is a diverse town with a wonderful community spirit that’s often overlooked, however it has a lot to offer and a lot of potential, and we are proud to be part of our community. As much as we love our regulars, and even the holiday makers who make a special visit to us every year, we want to expand and grow our business. We want to share our quirky products, handmade pouches and jewellery, and everything else here, with you. To have found us and to be reading this, you must also have an interest in what we do, or what we have to share, so please if you haven’t already, browse our extensive collections and see what exciting things you might find. 

But first, where is this going and what can you expect from us, aside from our fabulous products and first class customer service; we want to share with you the knowledge we have learnt along the way, from fabulous customers, to new exciting events or products, to info pages on crystals, or sabbats and all things witchy. Although we will always welcome suggestions and recommendations, and even opinions or experiences that are different to ours.
