Eucalyptus essential oil 10ml

A stimulating, clearing, purifying and regulating essential oil, the aroma is refreshing, sharp and camphorous.

Eucalyptus essential oil is high in cineol (approx 70%) which lubricates and soothes sinuses and bronchial passages, supporting cool and clear breathing and a healthy respiratory function. It also invigorates and soothes muscles before and after physical activity, so is useful as a massage oil.

In skincare, eucalyptus essential oil supports healthy skin and is suitable for skin that is prone to breakouts due to its antimicrobial effects. it is also a natural antibacterial and antiseptic.

Eucalyptus oil is steam distilled from the eucalyptus leaf. This essential oil is 100% eucalyptus oil with nothing else added. It blends well with herbaceous and woody aromas, and peppermint or black pepper.

Suggestions for use:

• Blend 5-10 drops and add to a bath.
• Mix 5-10 drops with water to use in an oil burner.
• Mix 6-10 drops with hot water to use an inhalation
• Patch test before use.

Precautions:

• Safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding when used within the guidelines.
• can be diffused or applied topically up to 0.5% for children under 3 years old. For children 3-6 years diffuse or apply topically up to 1%. And for children 7+ years follow the standard guidelines for children. Do not apply to or near the face of children.
• For use on skin, dilute up to a maximum of 20% essential oil in a carrier oil, patch test before use.
• Do not take internally unless prescribed by a qualified practitioner.
