Lime essential oil 10ml

Lime essential oil is refreshing, energising, uplifting and reviving the body and mind. It is also cleansing and purifying so is an excellent support for the lymphatic and detoxification system. In massage it is used to support healthy joints and in skincare it enhances skin tone and promotes youthful looking skin. As lime purifies and balances oily skin, it is safe to use by those prone to congestion and acne. It is antiseptic, antiviral and antibacterial.

Processing and ingredients:

• Steam distilled from lime peel
• 100% pure lime essential oil - nothing else
• Limes are hand picked from Mexico

Suggestions for use:

• Blend 5-10 drops to use in a bath.
• Mix 5-10 drops with water to use in an oil burner
• Mix 6-10 drops with hot water to use as an inhalation
• Safe on skin (see precautions)

Blending suggestions

Lime oil blends well with all citrus oils as well as geranium, lavender, palmarosa, rose and neroli.

• Safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding when used within the guidelines
• Not recommended for children
• Patch test before use
• Do not take internally unless prescribed by a qualified practitioner
• Keep away from children and eyes
• If you have a medical condition check with practitioner before use.
• Lime essential oil is not phototoxic, so it is safe to use this oil on your skin and be out in the sun, however in a cold compress lime oil becomes phototoxic.
