Pine essential oil is an invigorating, cleansing and clearing oil, with a fresh, lightly balsamic, forest-like aroma. It has a supporting and energising effect that is used to relieve mental and physical fatigue. It supports the respiratory system for clear and cool breathing, it also warms and soothes stiff muscles and joints from everyday wear and tear. Pine oil has antiseptic and disinfectant properties and is commonly found in a lot of household cleaners and fresheners. This essential oil can also cleanse the air so is great to diffuse during times of change or illness. In skincare pine oil supports healthy skin tone and balances and soothes irritated skin. It has antimicrobial, antiseptic, antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Suggestions for use:

• Blend 5-10 drops and add to a bath
• Mix 5-10 drops with water to use in an oil burner
• Mix 6-10 drops with hot water to use as an inhalation
• Patch test before use on the skin

Blending Suggestions:

Pine oil blends well with cedarwood, clove, cypress, eucalyptus, lemon, rosemary, thyme and tea tree
